Is it difficult to buy or sell a home?

Each situation is truly unique! Depending on various factors such as financing, time of year, how the market is, and more...it can be a quick and smooth process to long and tedious. Just know that whatever the situation, your REALTOR®, will be there for you every step of the way!

Do I need a real estate lawyer as well?

This is a personal decision. Keep in mind that we as agents, do not practice law and cannot give legal advice. If this is something you need, you may want to consider hiring a lawyer. However, in my experience, most buyers and sellers have successfully closed on properties without the need of a lawyer.

How much money do I need to buy a home?

This will be different for everyone depending on their individual situation and how much house they can afford. However, in general, you will want to have saved 10% of the price of the home you want. Keep in mind, it is possible to buy a house for much less than 10%...I did!

How will you find potential buyers/renters for my property?

These days most consumers shop on the internet. I utilize all the standard home search websites (realtor.com, zillow, etc.) as well as social media. Not to leave out any potential buyer/renter, I still utilize yard signs, flyers and I can take out ads in local and surrounding publications. I also use a listing service that is utilized by most agents to assist their clients in finding a home.
